MULE DEER

Trophy mule deer hunts are the centerpiece of the Triple Creek operation. Most mule deer hunts are on private, well-managed ranches in southeast Wyoming. In 20 years of history, our mule deer hunters are 95%+ successful with 100% opportunities. Over 90% of the bucks harvested are 4 points or better.

WYOMING PRIVATE RANCH MULE DEER – Oct. 1-14 or 15-31

We lease a number of large ranches in southeast Wyoming. The terrain ranges from the Laramie Mountains, with pine and cedar trees plus a variety of brush, to the grasslands of the Great Plains. Most ranches have been leased for years, and with our conservative management, it is common to see 10-20 bucks per day. 2007 hunters had 100% success on 4-point or better bucks. For our private ranch hunts we have two hunt areas, region T, which runs from October 1-14. The odds of drawing a license in this area is 100%. The other region for our private hunts is region J, these hunts run from Oct. 15-31, and the success rate for drawing a license is also 100%.

WYOMING WILDERNESS OR HIGH DESERT HUNTS (Public) – Oct. 1-14

These hunts take place in the rugged Snowy Range or Sierra Madre Mountains of south central Wyoming or in the famous Red Desert. These hunts are on public land set in beautiful habitat and operated from a camp. The ecotypes in this huge area go from the sagebrush desert to aspen, pine and ultimately to timberline. The odds on drawing a license in this area are usually 100%.

Wyoming Private Ranch Mule Deer hunt – 4 day hunt - $3300 - $3900
Wyoming Wilderness Mule Deer hunt – 4 day hunt - $990 per person in parties of three or more for guide service only
Wyoming Private Ranch Mule Deer/Antelope hunt – 4 day hunt - $4500-$5000.
Private Ranch Youth Hunt – Trophy antelope for both the parent and youth plus a mature management mule deer or whitetail for the youth. 3 day hunt - $4250 for both hunters.
